YNOT – During Cybernet Expo, dating and webcam affiliate program DatingGold will host an introductory educational session designed to impart the basics about affiliate programs. Affiliate Programs 101 will see key representatives of the company sharing their perspective about how affiliates and program owners can employ tried-and-true tactics as well as developing trends to their advantage, a spokesperson said.“There seems to be a misconception in the industry that affiliate program models are no longer viable,” said DatingGold Vice President of Marketing AK. “While it is true that other companies have dropped out of the market, we have been able to maintain the popularity of our program through innovation and top-notch support.”
DatingGold encompasses one of the longest-running dating affiliate programs in the industry, offering sites like AmateurMatch.com and WebCamClub.com. The program remains profitable, AK said, because affiliate representatives are experts at helping webmasters figure out new approaches to selling the sites’ services. The educational session will attempt to impart some of that knowledge and experience.
“There are a lot of things that you can only learn about affiliate programs through years of experience,” said Jay Davis, one of the company’s affiliate representatives. “We will teach attendees some need-to-know information about running a lucrative affiliate program and how to properly cater to your traffic through the best programs.”
