YNOT – A girl wakes up in the woods with blood on her dress, but no wounds. She has no memory of who she is, although intermittent flashbacks reveal snippets about her past. When she sets out to unravel the mystery, she meets a series of creepy characters and the real trouble starts.

Described as a “gonzo feature,” Dana Vespoli’s Forsaken[i] debuted online Monday, the latest in Evil Angel’s plan to conquer the world one web-before-DVD release at a time. A safe-for-work trailer is here. The DVD’s release date has not been divulged.

Vespoli, who recently joined the roster of directing talent at EA, appears in the film along with Ash Hollywood, Samantha Ryan, Phoenix Marie, Michael Vegas, Manuel Ferrara and [i]The Canyons star James Deen. Her next feature for Evil Angel reportedly will bear a lesbian anal POV theme.

“I’m very pleased and anxious to hear feedback [about Forsaken] from the viewers,” she said. “This is my first-ever gonzo feature, and it was a tremendous learning experience as well as a lot of fun to shoot.”

Vespoli got her start in the adult industry in 2003 as a performer, eventually venturing behind the camera to shoot behind-the-scenes bits. Since then, she has lensed movies for several adult studios, primarily in fetish and BDSM niches.

“Dana Vespoli is a veteran actor and director, and the quality of her work can be felt through her movies,” said Magalie Rheault, director of product and development for FameDollars, which manages Evil Angel’s websites. “Her audacious and intense fetish fervor really works well with Evil Angel’s repertoire, and we know the affiliates and fans will love her work.”
