LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Performer Availability Screening Service (PASS) Certified, the nonprofit organization that that oversees health and safety standards for the adult industry, has announced that Cutting Edge Testing (CET) has joined as an official PASS Testing Partner.

“As a trusted and long-standing provider of performer health services, Cutting Edge Testing brings extensive experience and commitment to the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and care,” PASS said in announcing the news. “CET is overseen by renowned infectious disease specialist Dr. Peter Miao. With CET’s addition, PASS expands its network of certified testing partners, ensuring more accessibility and consistency in testing options for performers across the United States.”

Ian O’Brien, the Executive Director of PASS, said the organization is “thrilled to welcome Cutting Edge Testing into the PASS network.”

“CET has long been a cornerstone of performer health and testing in our industry, and their partnership helps strengthen our shared mission – to make testing safer, more reliable, and more accessible for everyone who works in adult production,” O’Brien added.

PASS noted in the announcement that with the establishment of the new partnership, “performers who test through Cutting Edge Testing will have their results seamlessly integrated into the PASS system, allowing for secure, streamlined verification and reducing barriers to work for certified performers.”

In July, PASS announced the relaunch of its Performer Subsidy Fund (PSF), saying at the time that the fund “will now fully cover the cost of an industry-standard sexually transmitted infection (STI) test panel for up to ten people each month.”

“The PSF was first started in 2012 by adult film producers looking to subsidize the cost of STI testing for talent,” PASS noted in the announcement. “This relaunch was made possible thanks to a substantial investment by Brazzers.”
