Colombian performer Amaranta Hank, age 26, has launched an educational program for aspiring talent.

Hank, whose Twitter bio states she is a “periodista y escritora” (journalist and writer), began working in the industry in 2017. According to IAFD.com, she has since amassed a handful of web scene credits, as well as two credits in 2018 for Evil Angel — My Curvy Girlfriendsand Public Squirting, both paired with Nacho Vidal. She also has a podcast, which appears to have launched this past June and covers topics related to sex and literature.

Now, she can add educator to her list of accolades.

Iberoeconomia.es reported that the school, located in Medellín, Colombia, started its classes last week, however The Daily Mail shared a flier that shows classes beginning last May at The Secret Garden “erotic pub.” Hank is running the project in conjunction with Ramón Nomar.

Though online coverage of this program is somewhat thin, Hank’s reasons for starting it definitely are not. The Toronto Sun reported Hank explaining that, “The idea [for the university] came after receiving several messages daily from people who confessed to me of being tired of their work routine and their desire to become porn stars or enter the business.”

Topics covered in the courses being offered, also according to The Sun, include:

What matters in an erection (natural, chemical and mechanical erections)

Being a porn actress in a macho society

How to project your image: What kind of porn actress am I?

Spotting false and abusive producers

How to make a profit

How to make the perfect porn scene

Though sensationalized mainstream coverage seems to make light of Hank’s efforts – for instance, “The 26-year-old tempestuous thespian said the school offers workshops, conferences specializing in production, ‘acting’ and the selling of the smut” – there is great value in these educational endeavors.

As we explored in a recent issue of YNOT Magazine covering webcam in Colombia, many workers from all social classes are turning to adult entertainment for financial opportunity. The circumstances surrounding these moves are not wholly unique to Colombia. They do, however, seem acute within that specific nation state, currently. The factors impacting webcam certainly also shape the decision making processes for people looking to enter other segments of the business. With this in mind, the topics being covered in Hank’s university courses are both timely and informed.

Though no additional information about the university could be found online at this time, Hank’s Instagram account lists her email address as amarantahankx@gmail.com. Presumably, interested parties may reach out to her via that contact.
