After an embarrassing encounter with a professional organizer who discovered her sex toys, Lidia Bonilla spent months in a fruitless search for ways to disguise her collection without ruining her décor. In the end, she designed her own elegant solution and funded the result, Moi Box, with the first-ever Kickstarter campaign for an adult product.
The Moi Box formed the foundation of Bonilla’s company, House of Plume.
Moi Boxes are chic storage cases made specifically to house intimate items with security and discretion, at home or on the go. The Moi Box Deluxe includes a lacquered wooden box for nightstand storage and a travel-size Mini Moi Case, which is also available separately. The wooden box is sized to house three large toys and features a combination lock and clever slot in the back to allow for battery charging while hidden in plain sight.
The zippered Mini Moi includes rubberized elastic straps for keeping toys securely in place, a mesh pocket for condom or small item storage and an antimicrobial coating that discourages germ growth.
Both the Moi Box Deluxe and the Mini Moi Case are available from boutique distributor Entrenue in Eggplant or Black Smoke.
