TEL AVIV, Israel – Cherry.tv announced today the opening of the beta version of their cam platform. Models are now able to go live using OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), with web streaming “planned for the near future,” the company said in its release.
“During this first slow roll-out, we are supporting female and trans-femme models,” said Paul Ashworth, VP of Business Development for Cherry.tv. “Male, trans-male, and couples will be supported in the upcoming versions.”
“Since the platform is still in Beta, we want to take it slow and steady this round in order to iron out any remaining kinks, but we are very excited to finally get everything off the ground,” Ashworth added.
Ashworth said the beta launch “is a moment we’ve been working towards for the past 18 months, and it all comes down to this. We couldn’t be more excited to finally show Cherry.tv to everyone who’s been eagerly waiting for a new platform that changes the game for models, affiliates, and viewers.”
Cherry.tv has the ambitious goal to “change up the camming world with its unique tiered leveling system that incentivizes social interaction between models and users,” the company said in its announcement.
“We want everyone to have fun and make it easy to break the ice,” Ashworth said. “So instead of just bland tip menus, users can send models fun ‘action gifts,’ and models can more easily differentiate the serious fans from the lurkers.”
On Cherry.tv, users who tip, send gifts and buy shows “will be able to enjoy a greater level of personal attention from models who are serious about cultivating long term fans,” the company said in its announcement, adding that for models, “there’s definitely never been a platform that was as ‘model-friendly’ as it was user-friendly.”
“As models level up, their earning potential increases, and they can also enjoy a referral bonus of up to 15% on top of their regular earnings,” Ashworth noted.
Cherry.tv Brand Ambassador Sabien DeMonia said she is “so ready to take on this new challenge and take Cherry.tv all the way to the top.”
