Adult entertainment performer Cheerleader Kait won the 2026 AVN Award for Best New Starlet during the annual awards ceremony held Jan. 24 in Las Vegas. The recognition marks a career milestone for the Tampa-based actress who has transitioned from independent content creation to mainstream studio work.
The award was presented by 2025 Best New Starlet winner Gal Ritchie at the industry gala. Kait began the evening with an appearance on the red carpet, wearing a silver dress before the ceremony where she was announced as the winner.
In her acceptance speech, Kait thanked her fans, the AVN organization and various studios including Brazzers, Vixen, TeamSkeet and Nubiles for their support throughout her career development.
“Thank you so much to, first off, the fans. I wouldn’t be anywhere without you guys,” Kait said during her acceptance remarks. She also acknowledged adult performer Riley Reid for providing mentorship during her transition from OnlyFans creator to studio actress.
Kait’s career trajectory has included building an independent fan base through premium social media platforms before expanding into studio productions. Her work has appeared in content produced by several established adult entertainment companies over the past year.
