LOS ANGELES – Chaturbate announced today the addition of a new payout method for its independent broadcasters and affiliates – Skrill, a digital payment solution that joins seven other payout options already made available by Chaturbate.
“Skrill is a digital wallet used by millions of users in 180+ countries,” Chaturbate noted in its announcement. “Users can now easily and withdraw funds from their Chaturbate account directly into their Skrill Wallet. From there, users can keep the funds in their wallet account and use them to send money to friends, purchase from online merchants who accept Skrill, or simply withdraw their funds to use their money offline through a preferred payment option.”
Skrill account holders in the U.S. can request a Skrill Pre-paid VISA card that Chaturbate said “syncs directly to your digital wallet balance.”
“This allows one to spend their money wherever VISA is accepted, including withdrawing cash directly from an ATM,” the company added in its announcement. “Skrill account holders residing in the EEA can request a Skrill pre-paid Mastercard. In addition, you can collect loyalty points by signing up for Skrill Knect, which offers points you can redeem for bonuses, cash, or other goodies.”
Chaturbate Chief Operating Officer Shirley Lara called the integration of Skrill “a big win for the Chaturbate community.”
“We are happy to offer our broadcasters and affiliates a diverse range of payment options so everyone can get paid in a fast manner,” Lara added.
The company also noted that with the “Knect loyalty program” offered by Skrill, “Chaturbate Broadcasters can earn bonus points for transactions through Skrill.”
