YNOT – Social Profiles LLC, parent company of free live-cam website Chaturbate.com, has added a webmaster-referral bonus to the affiliate program it launched in July. Through Jan. 31, 2012, the program will pay 10 a 10-percent override on each referred affiliate’s earnings, doubling the basic bonus of 5 percent.
“The Chaturbate affiliate program is growing much like the site itself,” said spokeswoman Shirley Lara. “We thought now was the appropriate time to give our webmasters a little something extra.”
In addition to the webmaster referral payouts, Chaturbate’s affiliate program also pays webmasters $1 to $50 per registered user and $50 for each referred broadcaster who generates $20 in sales.
Chaturbate offers both affiliates and broadcasters a collection of tools to help them make money. Affiliates may choose from gay and straight banners, embed live cams and chat rooms, add pop-up codes, and employ text ads and APIs. Broadcaster tools include utilities to silence users with one touch of a button, block specific countries, and earn and count tokens.
“The programs and tools are working, too,” Lara said. “The site has now broken its record for number of broadcasters online for the third month in a row.”
