REYKJAVIK, Iceland – Did notorious Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen marry his short-time girlfriend, porn star Brett Rossi, over the weekend? Although Sheen created a social media avalanche by tweeting the news Sunday morning, his representatives said the whole thing was a joke.

“this is the house ware M Gorbachev R Reagan did some epic,” Sheen posted to Twitter on Jan. 5. “it’s also where S and I GOT MARRIED!”

“S” presumably refers to Scottie, Sheen’s nickname for 24-year-old Rossi, with whom he has been romantically linked since Thanksgiving. The 48-year-old actor attached a picture (embedded above) of him and his alleged fourth wife sitting on the steps of the French consulate inside which then-U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev participated in a 1986 summit.

The news flashed from the web onto Los Angeles television, precipitating a transatlantic Twitter exchange between Rossi and adult industry photographer Dean Capture during which Rossi seemed to pooh-pooh the marriage rumor.

“Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha epic,” she tweeted.

Sheen’s representatives reportedly told GossipCop.com father-of-five Sheen was only kidding.

“Sheen’s rep assures us he did not get married and was just joking around,” the self-appointed gossip industry police noted.
