Celebrity Skin Hits the Internet Airwaves

CHICAGO – Let’s face it: A man can gape at naked famous people for only so long before the thrill wears off. After 16 years of unveiling celebrity skin, Jim McBride needed a new drug.

The recently launched Mr. Skin Podcast gives McBride — known fondly by fans and not-so-fondly by celebrities as Mr. Skin — gives McBride a new weekly outlet for his signature wit and bad puns.

He didn’t approach the safe-for-work endeavor alone. Comic Jimmy Failla and Playboy model/TV and radio host Andrea Lowell signed on to create a show McBride swears will be “fun, smart and endlessly entertaining.”

The inaugural podcast episode took place July 12; new hour-long episodes will stream each Tuesday on MrSkin.com, Soundcloud, the Google Play app and iTunes. The show is interactive: Fans may ask the hosts questions by leaving a voicemail comment at 304-TALKSKIN. The best questions will be answered on-air by Mr. Skin himself.
