MIAMI – The second-annual Camming Con, set to take place June 4-7 in the South Beach section of Miami, is shaping up to be even bigger than the inaugural event, according to organizers.
In addition to the more than 100 models who have signed up to participate, the conference also will see the return of major sponsors including Model Centro, Chaturbate, Playboy Live, Freewebcams, Naked, Paxum, xmodels, cams.com and My Sexy Wish List. Making their first appearance this year are new sponsors iFriends, My Free Cams, Chat Star, Amateur Community, Action Payout Service and Play with Me.
“We are incredibly pleased to be working with the biggest names and companies within our industry,” said Camming Con co-founder and spokesperson Clinton Cox. “After the incredible success of last year’s show, we are looking forward to giving all of the companies involved a platform and a place to conduct business, share ideas and make business deals in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Miami Beach. We look forward to bringing together all of the components of this industry in one place at the same time, once again creating one of the best experiences to continue the growth of the industry and get to know people that are in the same business.”
Camming Con, the first show of its kind, was founded to promote the live-cam segment of the adult entertainment industry. According to Cox, the event “will be the destination to share ideas, improve, collaborate and expand on the fastest growing content-driven industry.” The conference brings together not only models, platforms and studios, but also content providers and overlapping businesses.
“We want to let the players in the industry, specifically the cam-site operators, know that this is the destination they have always desired to not only attend and do business, but [also] to send their top models to represent their websites,” Cox said. “We have created the program for the models’ fans to sponsor their favorite models and a great environment for everyone involved.”
Although fans will be allowed to visit the exhibit booths and take part in special promotions, June 5 is designated Industry Day. Special features include business-to-business seminars, breakout sessions and group discussions.
“While much of the programming will be model-based, the primary goal is to improve, expand and enhance the live-cam business, and to ensure every business goal is met,” Cox said. “With this in mind, Camming Con will offer a unique program that includes a well-rounded schedule of industry-focused events as well as excursions to Miami’s hottest spots.”
The conference will take place June 4-7 at the SLS Hotel. To ensure the safety of all models, 24-hour security will be on-site.
