The fourth episode of the Cam_Girlfriend, starring popular adult performer and Chaturbate fan-favorite broadcaster Lily LaBeau, debuted on Youtube this morning. In the episode, titled “The Feud”, things get heated online when Chloe gets into a beef with a rival camgirl.
In the series, LaBeau portrays Chloe, a cam performer struggling to juggle her relationships with her boyfriend Mike and her dedicated camming fans.
Dave Keystone, the 2018 Canadian Screen Award winner for Best Host of a Web Program, portrays Mike, who “quickly discovers the intricacies of sharing living space with not only Chloe, but also her online followers.”
Shirley Lara, Chief of Operations at Chaturbate, said the series “creatively mixes the real-life struggles of what it is like to be a cam model and the comedic addition of intimate relationships.”
“Each episode uncovers a new comedic element of what a cam girl goes through in their day-to-day and lets the public see behind the curtain of the internet’s hottest trend,” Lara added.
CAMGF1 Productions is the company behind Cam_Girlfriend. The series was created by Ethan Cole, directed by Daniel AM Rosenberg, co-written by Ethan Cole and Michael Goldlist and produced by Jason Kennedy and Daniel AM Rosenberg. In its launch announcement, Chaturbate said the series was “made possible thanks to the Independent Production Fund.”
Cole, who created and co-wrote the series, created, wrote and directed “The Project” for the Score Television Network. A comedic documentary series, The Project featured various professional athletes including Buster Douglas, The Ultimate Warrior, Jose Canseco, Metta World Peace and Ben Johnson. The show was featured in ESPN.com, Yahoo Sports, and the Toronto Star.
Series director Rosenberg is a director, producer and writer from Toronto. He has directed and produced both scripted & non-scripted programming airing on A+E Networks, FYI, HGTV, MTV, Much Music, BET, and CBC Gem and is the co-creator, producer, and director of the CBC digital series The Ninth.
