Following on what the company called “the incredible success of last year’s debut event,” CAM4 has announced that its “XXX FACTOR Talent Show” is back for its second season. CAM4 said the second edition “promises to be even more electrifying.”
“This year’s event is set to be bigger, bolder, and packed with more excitement, providing broadcasters with the ultimate platform to showcase their unique talents, engage with a global audience, and supercharge their careers through extensive promotion and airtime,” the company said. “Whether you’re a seasoned performer or ready to reveal a hidden talent, CAM4’s XXX FACTOR is your gateway to fame, fortune, and a major career boost. The sky’s the limit when it comes to creativity, from jaw-dropping dance routines to mind-blowing stunts.”
The announcement listed the following important dates for contestants to keep in mind:
- November 1-17: Talent Upload Period, when contestants submit their 2-minute videos.
- November 18-24: Voting Phase – contestants rally support and watch as the votes roll in and the audience selects the top 10 finalists.
- November 25-29: Finalists Revealed – the countdown to the Grand Finale, with the finalists being named.
- November 29, 21:00 CET: Grand Finale Showdown – a “must-watch live event where finalists go head-to-head for the crown.”
“We’re beyond thrilled to bring back XXX FACTOR for a second season, even bigger and bolder than before,” said Alexandra, Regional Manager for CAM4. “This talent show is all about empowering broadcasters to showcase their creativity, express their individuality, and connect with a global audience. Contestants will be vying for cash prizes awarded to the top finalists:
- 1st Place: $1,000
- 2nd Place: $750
- 3rd Place: $500
- 4th Place: $250
- 5th-7th Places: $100 each
The announcement also noted that the contest presents an opportunity for those who nominate contestants, as well.
“Do you know someone with untapped talent? Nominate them for XXX FACTOR,” the company said. “If they win, you’ll earn $100 for helping them rise to the top. It’s a win-win—help a star shine and take home some cash yourself!”
To take part in the competition, you must meet the following criteria:
- Submit your 2-minute talent video by November 17, 2024.
- Only verified Cam4 accounts are eligible.
- Open to participants in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, or Australia.
- Finalists must be available to broadcast live during the Grand Finale on November 29.
