Event Details for Nominees of the 2018 YNOT Cam Awards in Hollywood

What should I do for hotel accommodations?
YNOT has taken out a room block and secured discounted rates with the W Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. This is a full-service hotel that’s located just a few minutes walking distance from the Avalon. While the block is specifically for the night of October 24th, the W Hotel has agreed to extend the discounted rates to earlier or later days as well, pending availability, in case you would like to stay longer in Hollywood.
The discounted block is limited availability and the FINAL DAY to book at the discounted rates is October 10th. It’s possible the block will sell out before then, so it’s best to grab your room(s) early.

If you are flying into Los Angeles then we recommend you fly into the Burbank airport if possible, not LAX. It’s much closer to Hollywood and will also reduce transportation costs to and from the airport.
How will seating work at the Avalon Hollywood?
The YNOT Cam Awards will be divided into two primary seating categories.
VIP. This seating is floor level and features a full dinner service and open bar throughout the night. VIP seating is assigned seating at reserved tables.
General Admission. This seating is balcony level and cash bar only. While there are some great seats in this section, seating here is first come first served.
For the VIP seating, that section will be subdivided into three main areas. They include:
VIP Sponsors. These are large tables located directly in front of the stage.
VIP Preferred. These are slightly smaller tables located just behind the VIP Sponsors tables.
VIP Standard. These are booths that are located either on the sides or behind the VIP Preferred tables.
Do all nominees get VIP seats?
Yes! This is your big night and we want it to be a memorable one. If you are a nominee for a YNOT Cam Award then you have two options:
Option #1: Sit with your company in the VIP Sponsors section. If your cam network or studio is a Platinum or Gold sponsor of the YNOT Cam Awards then you might want to sit with them in the VIP Sponsors section. This is the closest you can get to the stage, so they’re the best seats in the house. If you are not sure if your company has a seat for you at a sponsored table just contact us and we can help you determine that.
Option #2: Sit in the VIP Preferred section. If you’re not in the VIP Sponsors section then this is the next best place. VIP Preferred seating is located in front of VIP Standard seating, just behind the VIP Sponsors section. As with all VIP seating it includes full dinner service and open bar (for alcohol you obviously must be 21+). If your cam network or studio is not a sponsor, or even if you just know you would rather sit in this area for any reason, contact us for your unique nominee registration code. You will then be able to enter it at our tickets portal on Eventbrite.com to secure your free VIP pass.
A bunch of my friends want to come. What can I tell them?
Option #1: Although you won’t see the option for General Admission seating on our ticket portal at Eventbrite, these seats are available free of charge to industry professionals, performers, and friends/family of nominees. Just contact us to discuss how many you need, and we can get you a code that will make these seats visible.
Option #2: VIP Preferred and VIP Standard seats are available for purchase from our Eventbrite ticket portal. If you have only one special guest needing a VIP seat please contact us to discuss options available only to nominees and their +1 guests.
Option #3: If your company is a Platinum or Gold sponsor you can also check with them about additional availability at their VIP Sponsors table.
What time does the event start?
The red-carpet event will start at 6pm on Vine Street, right in front of the venue. Dinner for VIP guests and pre-show entertainment are currently scheduled to begin at 7pm. The awards show itself will start by 8:30pm.
What else should I know?
YNOT is working on securing limos to drive nominees from the W Hotel over to the Avalon, so you can arrive in style. Details will be coming as soon as possible.
You can also walk to the venue if desired, it is very close to the W Hotel. Or you can drive, as there is a parking lot next to the Avalon Hollywood.
If you’re not familiar with the Los Angeles area know that the rumors are true, traffic can be a problem. Please plan accordingly, especially if you plan to drive during rush hour traffic.
