LOS ANGELES – Throughout this month, pleasure products company CalExotics is doubling its donations to Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) on all the company’s “Inspire” products, CalExotics announced Wednesday.
A portion of the proceeds from each Inspire product purchase goes to support LBBC, a national non-profit organization with the mission of connecting people impacted by breast cancer with trusted information and a supportive community. Over the course of its partnership with LBBC, the company has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help the breast cancer community.
“One of the wonderful things about this collection is that it inspires people to be philanthropic and to give hope to those who need it most,” said Susan Colvin, Founder and CEO of CalExotics. “CalExotics and Living Beyond Breast Cancer have been in partnership for over ten years, and we’re incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made.”
The partnership between CalExotics and LBBC began with the Papillion Massager, a sex toy the company said is designed to “empower women’s lives.” Seven years later, CalExotics “wanted to create a more significant impact, and so began the Inspire line,” the company said in its release.
The Inspire collection has since grown into a line of 11 sexual health and wellness products, featuring several different types of products designed by and for women. The Inspire line includes wands, arousers, teasers, Kegel training kits and exercisers, and dilator sets. Each product is designed to “enhance sexual intimacy, restore vaginal strength and comfort, and provide a means for users to explore their bodies.”
“The positive effects of taking care of one’s sexual health are well-documented, and these products will help support women as they rebuild their sexual lives going forward,” Colvin said.
Throughout October, customers can take advantage of CalExotics’ doubled donations and support LBBC by purchasing Inspire products either in-store or online. CalExotics will donate 10% of the net proceeds from Inspire product sales to LBBC. Consumers can also support the breast cancer community year-round by visiting lbbc.org and donating directly.
