Bucharest Summit Announces Dates, Changes Planned for 2020 Show

Bucharest SummitBUCHAREST – The Bucharest Summit will take place in September rather than June next year, a move made in part so that attendees “can experience Bucharest in a lovely multicolor perfect weather,” the show’s organizers announced today.

“Bucharest Summit started in 2017, hoping to make Bucharest the hub of the industry and sure enough, we succeeded thanks to you and your help,” the Summit organizers wrote in a statement issued Wednesday.

In their statement, the Summit organizers outlined which aspects of the event will change and which will remain the same – like the host venue, the Radisson Blue Hotel.

“We kept the gorgeous Radisson Blue Hotel and because we liked it so much, we have it exclusively for ourselves, that means we have 700 rooms for the industry and a lot of new options for branding and showcasing your brand,” the event organizers said in their release.

One of the bigger changes is dropping seminars in favor of smaller, more focused workshops and practical training sessions, the show organizers said.

“We decided to make the time everyone spends at the Bucharest Summit worth it, so we’re going to have workshops and practical training in small groups with restricted access,” the organizers said, adding that in these smaller groupings the industry best experts, performers and company representatives will go into depth on niche topics.

The Summit also will feature “expert roundtables,” during which the “creme de la creme from the adult entertainment industry will now have a dedicated conference in which they can grow their business together, exchange knowledge and learn from each other.”

The smaller workshop topics will focus on subjects like “premium to freemium strategies,” social media promotion and tools, traffic and marketing leads, legal issues, financing options and “regional and country-specific problem solving,” among other areas.

The voting system for the Bucharest Summit Awards will be changing, as well, in an effort to maximize the transparency of the process.

“Bucharest Summit Awards will be the first gala in our industry to choose its winners in a 100% transparent environment, by real time voting of all attendees,” the organizers said in the statement. “If you want to choose your favorite brands and people in our industry, make sure you are in the room and cast your vote for each category.”

Another of the 2020 show’s new features is bound to be a welcome one among first-time attendees – a concierge service to help newbies navigate and network, tasks that can be daunting for people attending their first industry event.

“Regardless of how long you’ve been in the industry, you must remember your first trade show, where you didn’t know so many people and nobody knew you,” the organizers said. “We’re fixing this with our Bucharest Summit Concierge Service: You tell us what or who you’re looking for, and we’re fixing up the meetings for you, bringing the business to you.”
