NEW YORK – Brazzers announced today the upcoming launch of ASMRotica, a “series of live audiogasmic theater events featuring top adult entertainment performers,” which has been created in collaboration with The New Society for Wellness (NSFW). The two-night debut of ASMRotica will take place in New York City on June 19 and 26.
ASMR is an abbreviation for “autonomous sensory meridian response” – a sensation people experience in response to “gentle audio stimulus,” as Brazzers put it in their launch announcement, “an experience that triggers unique body simulations with listeners, usually felt through headphones.” Google searches for the term ASMR reportedly have gone up 300% in the last three years.
ASMRotica will be held in a “secret location in lower Manhattan,” which will be revealed to ticket holders 24 hours before the event, according to the Brazzers announcement. The event will feature popular Brazzers performers Lisa Ann, Abella Danger, Abigail Mac and Bridgette B. The stars will deliver “a sensual ASMR reading of erotica stories inspired by their very own scene library and written by erotica writers Tina Horn and Suzanna Weiss.”
Danger, who recently signed an exclusive performance contract with Brazzers, said she’s thrilled about being part of ASMRotica.
“ASMR is like my favorite thing and this is going to be even crazier because it’s live,” Danger said. “I can’t wait!’’
According to Brazzers’ announcement, the event “will mix audio play with live readings of erotica while projected scenes from Brazzers’ extensive library of content shower the legendary performers. All guests will receive headphones and will be able to experience the immersive sensory effects throughout the night’s performances. NSFW’s master erotic theater performers will add to the experience with tantalizing numbers and demonstrations all night long.”
