VENICE, CA – Fans of Brandi Love have often wondered how success at the industry’s awards shows have largely evaded the wildly-popular star, but that all changed with the 2018 XBIZ Awards. Brandi won the coveted MILF of the Year award as well as Best Actress – All-Girl Release for her performance in The Candidate (Sweetheart Video/Mile High).
These are her first trophies since winning Best Cougar/MILF Performer at the 2013 NightMoves Awards.
The Candidate, directed by Dana Vespoli, stars Brandi as Jen Hanlon, Democrat for President. She is up against Trip Mathis (Alec Knight) and he’s in search of some dirt on Hanlon. Meanwhile, Hanlon and her lesbian lover are talking about coming out of the closet at the convention. But before she has the opportunity, an old tape showing Brandi and some of her sorority sisters in a group lesbo romp is released to the media.
But there’s a little dirt on Mathis – more specifically, his daughter (Penny Pax) – that he doesn’t know about: his daughter is a lesbian and, while she feels she can’t come out to her own father, she does confess to Hanlon. Will Hanlon use this information to help her win the election? Will she hook up with her opponent’s sexy daughter? Will this be the dirtiest, filthies, orgasmiest election ever?!
Aside from everyone at XBIZ, Brandi would like to send her gratitude to the fans, producers and industry as a whole.

I also feel incredibly fortunate to have such amazing relationships with Mile High/Sweet Sinner, Naughty America, Brazzers, Reality Kings, Blacked, Fleshlight, CamSoda, Jules Jordan, Porn Fidelity and so many others! If it wasn’t for the roles, scenes and talent they paired me with, this win would not have been possible. The Candidate alone is proof of that. I cannot thank the studios enough for their confidence in me.

She also wants to thank her husband, who handles being married to a porn star and everything that comes with that “with style while continuing to run our adult and mainstream businesses all the while holding down the fort at home while my career necessitates frequent travel.”
“My relationship with my not-so-little ones, as well as friends, continues to be a source of tremendous inspiration,” she added. “They all know what I do, who I am and what I stand for and they couldn’t support me more. I am a fortunate woman and couldn’t do this without them.”
