The year has barely begun but that hasn’t kept award winning adult superstar Brandi Love from already being covered in the mainstream press. This time around the controversy isn’t about politics, as The Sun UK reports, but rather about a famous horse with a suspiciously similar name. While Brandi Love the beloved porn star was coming back from CES in Vegas and updating her content, halfway across the world she was the main topic of conversation for the craziest of reasons!
One of the most important meetings in the National Hunt racing calendar in the United Kingdom, The Cheltenham Festival is an annual four-day festival held in March in Gloucestershire with 14 Grade One races across four seven-racecards. The best horses, trainers and jockeys go head-to-head for a purse that is only surpassed by the Grand National.
Described as the “heart of Jump racing” Cheltenham is where champions forge their reputations in front of over a quarter million racegoers. Considered the shining jewel in Jump racing’s crown, this year’s hottest prospect, Brandy Love, shares names with none other than the world’s greatest MILF Brandi Love.
The similarity is so close fans have been warned to be careful when looking up information on search engines like Google about the popular filly.
“Punters have been shocked to find one of the horses tipped for glory shares her name with a porn star,” reports The Sun UK. “Paul Townend was among those cracking up at the name of the filly, who is in the yard of genius Irish trainer Willie Mullins.”
Asked who he was looking forward to riding, Mullins top jockey let loose the mother of all Freudian slips.
“Brandy Love is one that I look forward to, uh…” Townend managed before bursting into laughter.
Whether or not Mullins thought about Brandi when naming his bay-colored beauty is unknown, but there’s no doubt he, the other jockeys, and racing fans worldwide do now.
