Indonesia to Deport Adult Film Star Bonnie Blue, Impose 10-Year Entry Ban

Indonesian immigration authorities will deport adult film performer Bonnie Blue and ban her from entering the country for at least 10 years, officials announced Thursday. Immigration chief Heru Winarko said Blue and her three-person crew violated their visa privileges by creating commercial content in Bali.
Blue and her team, including Australian comedian Julian Woods, will be deported once a police investigation concludes. The group faces trial over allegations related to purchasing an unregistered vehicle and driving without proper licensing.
The 26-year-old British performer was arrested last week alongside 17 male tourists during a raid of a studio in Badung. Fourteen Australian men were released without charge, while authorities continued investigating Blue and three others for alleged residence permit violations.
Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara said the group used tourist visas to create commercial content, which constitutes a violation of their permitted activities. Officials confiscated the group’s passports during the investigation.
After two days of interviews, police stated they found no pornographic elements during the raid. Investigators said all individuals admitted to participating in reality show content production at the studio.
The case began after public complaints about Blue’s activities during Australian “Schoolies” celebrations in the deeply religious country. Indonesia maintains strict morality laws prohibiting public nudity and sexual activities outside marriage.
Police seized Blue’s vehicle, cameras, and other equipment during their investigation. If convicted on the original pornography allegations, Blue could have faced up to 15 years imprisonment and fines of approximately $541,000.
This marks the second recent deportation for Blue, who was previously expelled from Fiji in November 2024 alongside another adult performer. Fiji’s immigration minister cited protecting the country’s integrity as justification for that action.
Blue is scheduled to appear in Denpasar District Court on December 12 regarding the vehicle registration charges. None of the individuals involved have been charged criminally in connection with the content creation allegations.
