Blogr.xxx, a Tumblr-like adult social network, now boasts over one million posts – a significant uptick in the wake of December’s now infamous “Tumblrgedon.”

According to press release information from the company, the site provided home to thousands of adult blogs no longer permitted on Tumblr following their crackdown on adult content.

According to the site’s terms and conditions page, Blogr is an online service that allows users to create, view and follow “visual collections” posted by others. The site allows pinning, uploading, embedding, sharing and general viewing of various types of content, including adult content, permitting registered and unregistered users to share sexually explicit images. In addition, Blogr.xxx contains picture and video content, information and other materials posted/uploaded by users.

“The Blogr adult micro-blogging platform offers many tools for porn stars, cam models and webmasters alike, including a Tumblr importer tool to welcome adult or mainstream bloggers to use our site with open arms,” said Mike, CEO and Founder of Blogr.xxx

The Tumblr importer was one of the most used tools before the crackdown. This tool facilitated easy migration of Tumblr blogs to Blogr.xxx and reportedly made a lot of “Tumblr refugees” very happy.

Even though it’s reportedly a cool feature – and at the moment Blogr servers “are going full blast” — Tumblr has certain API limitations, which are making migrations happen slower than people would like.

“Right after Tumblr made the announcement, things started to get wild and hot on Blogr, so we had to make a lot of improvements and investments in a short period of time,” Mike explained.
