BARCELONA, Spain – Bijoux Indiscrets has added seven pieces to the Magnifique collection, a line of chain jewelry that blends eroticism and fashion, framing the body in a way that highlights the feminine form. The new items bring the collection to a total of 12 designs.
Co-founders Elsa Viegas and Marta Aguiar said they drew their inspiration for the line from the sensuality of New York cabaret dancers. Non-conformist, attractive and dazzling women who stayed true to their principles, the dancers “showed they were not afraid to be sensual and beautiful,” Viegas and Aguiar said in a joint statement. “These women not only invented a new way of understanding music, but fashion, too.”
The Magnifique collection evokes the rebelliousness and sensuality that marked an era, the designers said. All pieces come complete with designer packaging featuring 1920s Art Deco prints.
