CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Twenty-nine adult entertainment industry veterans will be inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame Jan. 18, during the 31st annual AVN Awards ceremony.
Although it began as a way to recognize icons in the adult video sector of the industry, the AVN Hall of Fame has branched out over the years to honor standouts in other areas, as well. In addition to the traditional Video inductees, in January the Hall of Fame will add new honorees in four other categories: Founders (those who created studios with staying power), Internet Founders (those who blazed paths online), Pleasure Products (movers and shakers in the adult novelties business) and Executives (those who play key roles behind the scenes).
A minimum of 10 years as an active participant in the adult industry is required for nomination to the Hall of Fame. In addition, all inductees were selected for their unique contributions to the industry and its products.
The 2014 AVN Hall of Fame inductees are:
Executive Branch
