YNOT – Veteran sales and event-management professional January Robbins has joined AVN Media Network’s sales team as an account manager. Previously, Robbins spent nearly a decade with Home Entertainment Events, where she helped produce and market the annual AVN Adult Entertainment Expo.

While with HEE, Robbins also served in key roles behind other projects and trade shows, including the East Coast Video Show, the VSDA Home Entertainment Show, the Digital Asset Management Conference, the RED Camera Educational Conferences and the AVN Awards Show. Her work with the various events allowed Robbins to build relationships throughout the adult marketplace, from DVD producers to novelty manufacturers and online industry leaders. She brings those relationships to AVN, where she will assist clients across the company’s print, internet, mobile, business-to-business and business-to-consumer projects.

“We are extremely excited to have January as part of our sales team,” said AVN Director of Sales Sara Harter. “She is an incredible asset because she has been within our industry for years and is very familiar with many of the companies already, as well as AVN’s largest events. We look forward to many productive years ahead of us with January.”

Robbins said she, too, has high hopes for the future.
