Produced by Charlie Band and his shingle Full Moon Pictures, the mastermind behind such cult gems as Reanimator, Puppet Master, and Barbie & Kendra Save The Tiger King, ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT CAMGIRL is sure to be a sick and twisted sci-fi comedy ride filled with loads of laughter and inappropriateness.
If anyone can pull off this delicious piece of camp, it’s Band, who has been entertaining fans with B-movie fare since the 70s. New Moon excels in just the right amount of wrong and if you don’t believe me, just look closely, VERY closely at the Cam-Girl poster:
See it? No? Look closer… CLOSER… touché! The horrified female onlooker is pointing right at Cam-Girl’s GIGANTIC crotch. Yikes! It’s naughty, irreverent touches like this that guarantee this movie’s gonna be good. Or so bad it’s good. Either way it’s gonna be flippin’ good. Just take a gander at this awesomely outrageous synopsis:
Beverly Wood is one of the biggest stars on social media. Millions of fans subscribe to her sexy cam shows and buy her products. It seems like everyone loves her. Everyone that is except her husband and Fuschia, the young upstart who secretly plots to bring Beverly down and take over her online empire forever!
But when Beverly’s latest – and untested – brand “Unholy Meat-rimony” gives her some gargantuan side effects, she becomes an even BIGGER force to be reckoned with! Ballooning to beastly proportions, the now 50-foot-tall influencer becomes super large, totally in charge and ready for revenge in this wacky comedy that’s positively bursting at the seams!

I got a chance to sit down with Charlie Band for an exclusive YNOT interview and ask him a few questions about his newest must-see.
Whose idea was it to use camgirls?
I wanted to make something forever in the spirit of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and Attack of the 50 Foot Centerfold. 20 years ago, it was harder to do, today with technology it’s easier. The time felt right. I started thinking about what it could be, for a moment I thought about “model” – Attack of the 50 Foot Model – but that sounded old and stale. The trick to getting sexy shows on Amazon, is to make them PG13, but the concept title vibe has gotta be hot. So, I thought about what terms people are using and connect with. That’s when I came up with camgirls. And because it does put its toe in adult world, I knew it would get a lot of attention.
Why do you think people are so fascinated with camgirls?
I’m the worst person to answer this. For example, I’ve made a series for over 15 years called Evil Bong and the sad truth is I don’t smoke weed. Same with camgirls, I’ve not engaged with them either. But, when I started thinking about what this homage film could be, camgirls felt right. I knew that it was fresh, funny, and innocent, yet right on the edge and alternative.
Is there any opportunity for real camgirls to be part of a sequel?
Yes! If we make a dollar, we will make a hundred of them! They’ll crossover and we’ll even mix them with our other films like 50 Foot Camgirl Meets Evil Bong.
Talk a little bit about your star, Ivy Smith – this is her first credit! It’s great to see Full Moon giving newcomers a chance. How did you find her?
I claim no credit. This is the first time I’ve worked with director Jim Wynorski – which is exciting because the two of us have been doing film for a combined 90 years. When we spoke about casting, we knew it needed to be a fresh face. So, Jim put out word on social media. Ivy responded and she’s perfect. She’s cute, naive and she’s FUNNY. Also, – similar to Attack of the 50 Foot Woman – the character has a cheating husband and Ivy gets pissed off really well.
What do you want to leave your audience feeling at the end of this movie?
A happiness boner!
Currently in production, ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT CAMGIRL will premiere exclusively on the Full Moon Features channel and Full Moon’s Amazon Prime channel sometime in March.
