ASACP Honors its Featured Sponsors for March 2018

LOS ANGELES, CA –  The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to announce its Featured Sponsors for the month of March 2018, highlighting XBIZ, AVN, and Saboom/PartnerCash as this month’s industry role models.

According to ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning, it is only through the ongoing generous support of its family of sponsors that the non-profit association’s multi-decade legacy of success — as well as its vital future endeavors — is possible.

“Each month, ASACP highlights select sponsors that have gone over and above in their commitment to online child protection, demonstrating a high level of corporate compassion and industry leadership,” Henning stated. “Our Featured Sponsors are the backbone of the association and the fuel for ASACP’s 22 years of achievement working towards making the internet safer for children.”

These achievements include ASACP’s globally lauded Child Exploitation Tipline, which has processed more than one million CP reports to-date; its award-winning Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta label that helps filter age-restricted materials; market-specific Best Practices; along with a universal Code of Ethics that guides companies towards child-safe operation; and more.

“Through these measures and more, the association makes effective use of the support it receives from its sponsors, members, and contributors,” Henning added. “Working together, we have kept countless children out of and away from adult entertainment, and we will continue to do so.”

ASACP would like to thank XBIZ, AVN, and Saboom/PartnerCash, for their ongoing generous support of the association and for the efforts of these industry leaders to make the internet safer for children, recognizing the roles these companies play in improving today’s online ecosystem.

XBIZ

A founding Platinum Sponsor since 2002, XBIZ has a long relationship with ASACP, with both organizations founded by entrepreneur Alec Helmy.

According to XBIZ, it is the adult entertainment industry’s leading publisher of business news and information, providing up-to-the-minute coverage of the industry at XBIZ.com and in three trade publications — XBIZ World for the digital media market, XBIZ Premiere for the retail market and XBIZ Sensuals for the intimate products market. In addition, XBIZ hosts multiple annual events including the red-carpet gala XBIZ Awards. Frequently cited in the media’s coverage of the industry, XBIZ is featured in CNN, Fox News, Newsweek, MSNBC, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, CNET, ABC, USA Today and Los Angeles Times among others.

Although it is an industry news portal, the XBIZ.com website sets a responsible example for the adult industry by using the RTA tag to prevent minors from accessing it. The company has also extended its generosity to the association by supporting ASACP’s attendance at its events.

AVN Media Network

A Platinum Sponsor since 2002, the AVN Media Network has a long history of support for ASACP and its mission. According to the company, it is the definitive source for all that is adult entertainment by covering the evolution of this multi-billion dollar global industry — setting the standard for the business of pleasure by delivering unparalleled content reaching industry professionals, mainstream media, and a diverse spectrum of consumer groups and communities.

AVN protects children from accessing the adult-oriented material on its websites by utilizing RTA labeling as a proactive and protective measure. AVN has also been very generous to the association financially and through material support, extending its hospitality at AVN events, such as providing advertising services and underwriting hotel accommodations, among other niceties that have helped the association carry on its mission — including providing advice and assistance through its participation on the association’s Advisory Council.

Saboom / PartnerCash

An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2012, PartnerCash helps protects children online in part by using Restricted To Adults meta labeling to help secure sites such as its flagship property “Saboom,” which brings the next generation of interactivity to adult entertainment and demonstrates the company’s long-term “here to stay” vision.

Founded in 1999 by two brothers who had a vision of creating the first affiliate platform targeting the German market, PartnerCash provides innovative services to help webmasters earn as much revenue as possible from referrals and has earned a reputation for reliability and innovation that has driven it forward to success in the international arena, all while protecting children.

“From providers of industry events, news and resources, to cutting-edge adult entertainment creators, ASACP’s Featured Sponsors for March reveal how responsible companies take online child protection seriously, regardless of their market segment,” Henning concludes. “The example they set is an inspiration to every business concerned with doing the right thing.”
