ASACP Honors its Featured Sponsors for April 2017

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is pleased to present its Featured Sponsors for the month of April 2017.

Each month, ASACP selects companies to highlight from its family of sponsors that have gone over and above in assisting the association in carrying out its mission and earning tangible results towards keeping kids safer online.

For example, ASACP’s internationally recognized Child Exploitation Tipline has processed more than one million CP reports since its inception, while its award-winning Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta labeling prevents children’s access to adult-oriented web pages and mobile apps. The association’s Best Practices that are tailored to specific market segments, and its universal Code of Ethics, guides digital media firms towards child-safe operation while preserving adults’ freedom of choice.

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning says the association’s Featured Sponsors standout among the industry’s most successful companies and can offer inspiration as examples of self-regulation, corporate responsibility, and ethical operation.

“As a non-profit association, ASACP survives on the generosity of its sponsors, without whose help we would not be able to carry on our tireless mission and 20-plus-year record of success,” Henning explains. “Honoring the association’s Featured Sponsors highlights the industry leaders that commit to the cause of online child protection, and shows their peers and stakeholders beyond that adult companies can act in the interest of children and society.”

For April, ASACP honors AdultCentro and The European Summit (TES), as its latest Featured Sponsors, recognizing their ongoing support of the association and its gratitude for the continuing commitment shown by these companies to making the internet safer for children.

AdultCentro

An ASACP Title Sponsor that has extended its generous support to the association since 2012, AdultCentro offers resources for adult content creators, performers, and publishers, so the company takes online child protection seriously to ensure that minors are not using its wide range of services.

These services allow publishers to build a complete site or insert content feeds into an existing site, while other options bring content buyers and sellers together and allow users to distribute and monetize their content. Altogether, the tools from AdultCentro provide a complete ecosystem for adult entertainment companies, performers and promoters to bring their wares to market, and as such they sit on the front line of the need for online child protection.

“AdultCentro is an industry leader that shows it is possible for adult-oriented material to coexist with the need for online child protection,” Henning says. “The company works with many new performers so it is vital for it to take a proactive approach to age verification and corporate responsibility, which we applaud.”

The European Summit

An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2010, The European Summit (TES) hosts Europe’s leading B2B conference for the online entertainment industries, bringing together top representatives from the affiliate, billing, casual dating, domain name, mobile technology, website and traffic service arena, in a comfortable setting that is conducive to exchanging ideas and information.

TES is also one of the association’s most stalwart supporters over the years, providing considerable, consistent assistance that has enabled ASACP to spread the word about the importance of online child protection to operators across Europe and beyond.

“The European Summit attracts Europe’s most influential adult media companies, making it a prime venue for ASACP to deliver its message of the need to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment,” Henning explains. “As a show of its support, TES provides a high level of hospitality to the association, including numerous fundraisers and complimentary event amenities, illustrating the range of opportunities beyond direct financial support that companies have when it comes to helping ASACP.”

April’s Featured Sponsors serve as fine examples of how the adult industry works to end the scourge of child exploitation and illustrate the proactive steps taken by today’s premium adult entertainment sites to keep children away from age-restricted materials.

“ASACP’s Featured Sponsors serve as prime examples of corporate leadership,” Henning concludes. “By supporting ASACP and its mission, these companies help to raise awareness and protect children, moving the industry towards a safer future for youth and business alike.”
