ASACP, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, is pleased to name CAM4, Gamma Entertainment and TES Affiliate Conferences as its Featured Sponsors for February 2020.

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning said the association’s monthly Featured Sponsors are among the industry’s most respected companies and serve as examples of how responsible business policies, ethical operation and social awareness can help protect minors from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials.

“By sponsoring ASACP, the industry’s prominent players prove that adult-oriented entertainment and corporate responsibility go hand in hand,” Henning said. “ASACP is proud to honor these companies that have demonstrated a commitment to online child protection, encouraging other organizations to take a leadership role in keeping minors out of and away from adult entertainment.”

The support that ASACP receives from sponsors such as CAM4, Gamma Entertainment and TES Affiliate Conferences enables it to continue its near 24-year record of success and to provide a range of educational and informational resources for digital media and other companies —including market-tailored Best Practices along with a universal Code of Ethics for online businesses, app publishers and operators of age-restricted websites.

Among its most notable achievements, ASACP’s RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta labeling system helps parents prevent their children’s access to countless adult-oriented webpages and mobile apps and is offered to all site and app publishers free of charge, as are all ASACP services; including its CP Reporting Tipline, which has processed more than 1 million user reports to date, thanks to the generosity of the nonprofit association’s sponsors and members.

For February, ASACP honors CAM4, Gamma Entertainment and TES Affiliate Conferences as its Featured Sponsors, recognizing these companies’ continued, generous support of the association, and their ongoing commitment to making the internet safer for children and families.

CAM4

An ASACP Title Sponsor whose support extends back to 2011, CAM4 is vigilant about online child protection, due to its operation of live video chat sites, where minors not only attempt to access these sites, but by misrepresenting their age, attempt to become paid performers. The global nature of this business (with varying documentation in different jurisdictions) and the physical separation between the company and its contractors, make it a daunting proposition to ensure that performers, let alone viewers are of legal age.

Because of these challenges, ASACP offers a stringent set of Best Practices tailored to the specific needs of live cam site operators, which CAM4 benefits from. CAM4 also takes additional measures such as the use of the RTA label to block children from its site; illustrating a caring, proactive approach to keeping children safe.

These steps also include a warning page overlay that notifies viewers that no CP is present on the site and that anyone posting or seeking underage material would be reported to authorities, with the company aiding in the prosecution of these users — sending a clear message that it will not tolerate children accessing or being displayed on the CAM4 site.

Gamma Entertainment

An ASACP Corporate Sponsor that has supported the association since 2006, Montreal-based Gamma Entertainment illustrates the commitment that the adult entertainment industry’s most prominent players make towards keeping children out of and away from adult entertainment.

According to the company, Gamma has grown from a home-based business with a single website to become a major force in the adult industry, boasting nearly 60 full-time employees. Gamma attributes its growth to the use of cutting-edge technology and adherence to four basic principles: honesty, respect, reliability and an up-front way of doing business, as the bedrock of its success.

Gamma demonstrates its leadership by using the RTA website meta-label to protect its sites and by donating rack space for two ASACP-owned servers located in the Gamma data center — providing useful material and technical support, as well as financial aid for the association.

TES Affiliate Conferences

An ASACP Sponsor since 2010, TES Affiliate Conferences, formerly The European Summit (TES), was founded in 2009, with the event bringing together professionals from the online entertainment industry, e-commerce, financial, gaming, gambling, dating, forex, binary options, health, nutraceuticals, and many other markets for an intensive three-day networking event.

From the onset, TES was intent on creating a great networking experience for its attendees and delegates because, in our high-tech world, it is still of supreme importance that excellent interpersonal relationships be developed and maintained, as they are just the cornerstones of building a successful business.

TES is also one of the association’s most stalwart supporters over the years, providing considerable, consistent assistance that has enabled ASACP to spread the word about the importance of online child protection to operators across Europe and beyond.

“TES Affiliate Conferences attracts Europe’s most influential adult media companies, making it a prime venue for ASACP to deliver its message of the need to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment,” Henning explained. “As a show of its support, TES provides a high level of hospitality to the association, including numerous fundraisers and complimentary event amenities, illustrating the range of opportunities beyond direct financial support that companies have when it comes to helping ASACP.”

“The generosity of leading companies such as CAM4, Gamma Entertainment and TES Affiliate Conferences enables ASACP to carry out its ongoing mission to protect today’s constantly connected youth,” Henning concluded. “ASACP’s monthly Featured Sponsors show that leadership and proactive responsibility is alive and well in the adult entertainment industry.”
