SAN FRANCISCO – When pleasure products manufacturer Jimmyjane unveiled its Live Sexy line of mid-range intimate massagers in January, the company’s goal was to provide premium sex toys at price points consumers at every level could afford.
Evidently, the company succeeded in its quest, because supply hasn’t been able to keep up with demand. The entire line is out of stock and won’t be available again until April 15.
The Live Sexy line comprises modern, user-friendly vibrators in the mid-tier price range. Retailers — and evidently, consumers — have embraced the line, according to a Jimmyjane spokesperson.
“Not every consumer that walks into a store necessarily knows what sensation or shape they are looking for, or they might not be ready to invest in a premium product for their first experience,” said Jimmyjane President Robert Rheaume. “We feel the Live Sexy [line] gives these consumers an opportunity to enter the world of Jimmyjane and experience the quality and design that [have] made the brand an industry leader.”
Live Sexy products take inspiration from Jimmyjane’s flagship Form collection of waterproof, rechargeable vibrators. The new line offers more simplistic versions of best-selling Form products in four battery-operated models, each with three power levels and three vibration modes. All are waterproof, made with body-safe, phthalate-free silicone and come with a one-year warranty. Manufacturer’s suggested prices run from $29 to $59.
