VENICE, CA – It was something out of a dream. Anna Bell Peaks had attended the Inked Awards each of the past two years and both times went home with a pair of awards, including Starlet of the Year in 2016.
She entered the 2017 Inked Awards with nine nominations and an amazing year of work behind her, but in the unpredictable world of awards shows, even entering with a long list of noms is no guarantee that any of the trophies will be engraved with your name. Nonetheless, Anna’s tremendous work was recognized as her name was called five times throughout the show.
The night was even more special because she had her date, RayRayNNJ, the winner of a months-long contest to accompany her, was at her side, sharing Anna’s special night with her. She looked transcendent with her red hair, and bright blue dress tight against white skin. And not only did Anna win five awards, she was also announced as host of the 2018 Inked Awards.
“I was just stunned by the end of the night,” Anna said on Sunday. “What can you say when you are so honored by your peers? Just thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so flattered by everything, and to be named the host of next year’s awards show, it’s just crazy! I had so much fun and I am so grateful for everything.”
