VENICE, Calif. – Anna Bell Peaks recently had to turn in her stripper pole for a hospital bed due to a serious problem that she is now recovering nicely from. She’s back to exercising and next week she will make her dramatic return to the stage next week at Gossip in Long Island.

How big is that? Well, Anna is one of the biggest stars of the stage in the country, so this triumphant return means not only a return to schedule, it means fans can depend on her making her future dates and that one of the adult industry’s top performers is well on her road to recovery.

Two weeks ago, unable to get out of bed, she taken from her home in an ambulance and was hospitalized. It was discovered that she had a C. difficile infection (a type of bacterial infection) and had to remain in the hospital for a few days and as a result was forced to cancel some appearances while she recovered. She will soon be better and back to shooting scenes, camming and already she’s making her return to the stage.

“My fans were so supportive when I was in the hospital, I even received flowers, a giant bunny rabbit stuffed animal, and even monetary support from the best fans on the internet,” Anna said. “I felt so cared for and knew everyone was hoping and waiting for my speedy recovery. Thank you so much for the support and outpouring of get well soon wishes!”

The 8th annual Spank Bank nominations were announced last week and Anna received a pair: Royal Majesty of the Stripper Pole and Tattooed Temptress of the Year. These both focus on two of her more famous assets, her talent on the feature stage and her incredible collection of ink.

“Feature dancing and tattoos are definitely two of the things I’m most famous for, so these are some pretty solid noms,” Anna said. “I appreciate Gabriel [Lan] thinking of me and I’ll keep my fingers crossed – except when I’m working the pole!”

The Spank Bank Awards are presented by IAFD (Internet Adult Film Database), one of the industry’s most important websites and are the sole responsibility of Gabriel Lan, one of the site’s contributing writers. The awards show will be hosted by Missy Martinez with Trophy Girls Goth Charlotte and Ryan Riesling. The winners will be announced “soon,” according to IAFD.
