HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Adult performer, producer and former runway model Ana Foxxx has scored a role in HBO’s new original series, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, appearing in the newly-released third episode of the show.
The series follows the story of the L.A. Lakers, on and off the court, during the 1980s. Based on Jeff Pearlman’s book, Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers, the series features a powerhouse ensemble cast, including John C. Reilly, Quincy Isaiah, Jason Clarke, Adrien Brody, Sally Field and Jason Segel, among others.
In the just-aired third episode of the show’s first season, Foxxx “shows off her acting skills as a sex worker at a party house that Magic Johnson (played by Quincy Isiah) comes for a good time, and he ends up having sex with her,” Foxxx’s representatives noted. “Her time on screen was unforgettable and will hopefully get her seen by casting directors for future projects.”
“I was excited to be part of such a brilliant project,” Foxxx said. “It was cool how retro the sets and clothes were — they really got the 1980s down. It’s great to show my acting abilities in mainstream, and I’m hoping for even juicier roles coming my way.”
Her appearance in Winning Time is not Foxxx’s first or only performance in a mainstream work. Foxxx has also appeared in Tangerine, American Kamasutra, Toy, Dimiuendo, and All-American Bikini Car Wash, titles which are available on major streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime.
