CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Giant Media Group, parent company of adult studio Devil’s Film, has acquired North American distribution rights to all Daring Media Group productions. Daring is a Scala brand; Scala is a division of German conglomerate Beate Uhse.
The deal includes feature films produced by award-winning, high-end boutique studios Daring! and Daring! Pure.
On May 1, Giant Media and Devil’s Film will serve as exclusive North American distributors for the Daring brands. More than 100 Daring titles will be available initially. The companies plan to street the new titles Fade Into You and Coming Out on May 15.
“As the market continues to evolve, we’re looking to take on all different types of genres to supplement our core Devil’s Film line,” said Devil’s Film Vice President of Operations Eric Gutterman. “The Daring! line includes a hetero line and a pure lesbian line, both of which are shot in Europe by award-winning directors who know how to capture smoking-hot sex. Every title revolves around the erotic lovemaking theme, and they’re perfect for the newer boutique-themed stores that cater to couples.”
Steve Volponi, vice president of production and sales at Devil’s Film, said the company plans an aggressive release schedule.
“We’ll be releasing two new teleases a month to start, with the possibility in the fall of releasing four full-length features a month,” he said. “Each individual masterpiece has five beautifully captured erotic scenes featuring some of Europe’s filthiest fuck starlets.
“There are more than 100 titles presently in theDaring! line, and we can’t wait to give our customers a chance to carry one of Europe’s hottest high-end hardcore lines,” he added.
Going forward, Devils and Daring! plan to collaborate on the production of new releases in every genre. The productions will be shot in Europe and the U.S.
