LONDON, UK – Comedy fans in England are going to have more than just jokes to smile about, as Roast Battle League LA judge Alexis Fawx makes her way across the pond to London to take part in the Roast Battle League London, Fawx’s publicity reps at Star Factory PR have announced. The “no-holds-barred” comedy competition will take place Friday, August 29, at Angel Comedy Club’s venue, The Bill Murray Comedy Club, 39 Queen’s Head St, London.

According to the announcement, “Alexis will join the judging panel for a night where comedians face off in an unfiltered exchange of razor-sharp roasts, lightning-fast comebacks, and fearless putdowns.” Fawx’s reps said attendees can expect “outrageous insults, explosive laughs, and a truly unforgettable evening of comedy. Savage jokes. Brutal burns. One champion.”

Fawx said the Roast Battle is “one of the most exciting comedy events around.”

“I’m thrilled to bring the Roast Battle League LA spirit across the pond and be part of such a high-energy, fearless night of comedy,” Fawx said.

Before heading off to host the roast in the UK, Fawx will take the stage at Grove 34 in Queens, New York, on Wednesday, August 27, for another Roast Battle League event.  According to the announcement, at the event in New York Fawx will “square off against comedian Chris Crespo in a no-holds-barred battle of wit and fire.” The venue, Grove 34, is located at 3183 34th Street in Queens. Fawx’s reps also noted that a new episode of Roast Battle League was recently released on the league’s YouTube channel. In that event, Alexis joined Jeremiah Watkins and John Hastings to judge the roast comedians. The event was filmed at the renowned Comedy Store in Los Angeles and can be seen on YouTube here.
