YNOT – As the co-owner of Goodhandy’s pansexual nightclub and The Lounge t-girl strip club in Toronto – both of which can be found through www.goodhandys.com – renowned transsexual Amanda (Mandy) Goodhandy has become an icon of the Toronto alternative sexuality scene. Yet when it comes to recorded porn, Goodhandy has been notorious for her absence – until now. Yes, after much fan speculation about what Mandy is really like in action, she has starred in an adult video! YNOT.com caught up with Mandy recently, to ask her about her debut in ‘Tranny Tagteam’.
YNOT: After many years in the business, this is your first adult video. Why did you decide to produce it?
Mandy Goodhandy: This was filmed about five years ago. It was an extension of the Mandy Goodhandy spanking line, where Mandy spanks and punishes the boys and this includes a good fucking. We just never got around to releasing it till recently.
Where was it shot, and how?
It was shot at The Lounge in Mississauga, after hours. We used to have a male stripper/nude male models event there on Saturday nights. These nights involved a lot of our male models who participated in our Gay line of videos. It was filmed by my business partner Todd Klinck, and direct by myself. You are accustomed to doing live shows with an audience. Was it difficult performing for a camera?
I do not enjoy performing in front of the camera very much, especially sex. But it was something we had a lot of requests for; people wanted to see Mandy Goodhandy in some sex action.
It was fine once I got into it, but it felt strange at first. I am more of a voyeur than an exhibitionist. I do like the Mandy Goodhandy Spanking videos though, because they do involve some sort of performance.
What was the funniest thing that happened on the shoot; either one or off-camera?
The boys are way too serious for anything to be funny. If you joke around too much, they may lose their erections.
The Mandy Goodhandy spanking videos can get funny though (the ones with no sex), and I sometimes have to concentrate hard not to laugh. Only because the boys come out with some really interesting lines (everything is improv, we do not like to use scripts), and they are so serious when they say it, that it can be amusing. We do a lot of laughing after the shoots though, but certainly not the sex shoots.
Did you enjoy the shoot? Will you be doing any more?
I delivered the shoot, but I am not sure if I particularly enjoyed it. [This said] I will certainly be doing more as we go along. I have all sorts of interesting ideas that the fans of Mandy Goodhandy may enjoy.
