CYBERSPACE – Adult Film Star Content, a licensing agent for adult materials, has purchased all assets belonging to Woodman Entertainment. The deal encompasses exclusive rights to the entire Woodman Entertainment library, including Ass Invaders, Tropical Secret, Sex Carnage and The Perfectionist.
Woodman Entertainment founder Pierre Woodman, a native of Auvergne, France, to date has created more than 65 pornographic films, more than 2,000 hardcore scenes, about 1,500 photosets and more than 7,000 casting videos. Arguably the most famous of his work is the Xcalibur trilogy. With a production budget topping 850,000 euros (about U.S. $1.124 million), Xcalibur still ranks among the most expensive adult movies ever made. Released in May 2007, the three-part costume epic included a cast of 75 actors and 250 extras.
The entire award-winning Woodman Entertainment library is available for licensing and immediate download.
The Woodman library contains some unreleased gems sure to attract the attention of fans, according to Adult Film Star Content President and General Manager Anthony Simone.
“We are very excited to have acquired the exclusive rights to one of the most celebrated media libraries in the adult industry,” Simone said. “Pierre Woodman is a legend, and his content library boasts some of the most awarded titles in the business.
“Even more exciting is the loads of never-before-seen content shot by Woodman and other celebrated directors such as Phillipe Soine and David Perry,” Simone added. “That [material also] will be available exclusively at Adult Film Star Content.”
Clients of the company may license adult DVDs, high- and standard-definition videos and high-end photosets from almost 50 different studios including Platinum X, Venom, Multimedia, Anarchy, Combat Zone, Sudden Impact, Black Market, AMA and Pink Kitty. AFSC’s library contains 18,000 SD scenes, 5,000 HD scenes and 10,000 full DVDs featuring the popular performers. Because the company owns 85 percent of the material it licenses, representatives can make deals other content brokers can’t offer, Simone said.
