CHARLOTTE, NC – Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network (AEBN) has announced that they have promoted veteran adult industry technology and marketing executive Harvey Kaplan to the post of Executive Vice President for Strategic Business Development of AEBN. Mr. Kaplan was previously Director of Mobile Operations for Xobile.com, AEBN’s mobile division.According to a company press release, in his new role, Kaplan will be responsible for “business development, corporate strategy, marketing and corporate communications” for the company, and will continue to direct management of AEBN’s mobile operations.

“This was an important business decision for the company,” said Scott Coffman, CEO of AEBN. “We intend to stay on the cutting edge of technology and need someone to act as a watchdog for anything that may give our company an advantage over our competition. Mr. Kaplan has proven himself here to be an expert in the emerging technology market place and we hope to parlay that expertise in to company wide success.”

Prior to joining the AEBN team earlier this year, Kaplan was Marketing Manager of Flynt Digital/HUSTLER, where he developed the company’s strategy for electronic communication technologies and directed the electronic distribution of products and services using internet marketing techniques.

As head of the Xobile division with AEBN, Kaplan has been responsible for building a dedicated mobile marketing team, and “channeling the company’s international network of content production partners, affiliates, advertising agencies and content providers towards the lucrative mobile arena,” according to AEBN’s press release.

Kaplan began his career in the adult industry as President and CEO of Fine Line
Entertainment Inc., a video production company. Kaplan has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Century Business College in San Diego, California.
