YNOT – Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network, a leading online distributor of adult movies, has launched what the company believes to be the first Roku channel offering content by the minute.

“We believe AEBN is the only mainstream or adult service offering pay-per-minute functionality through Roku,” said Jerry Anders, vice president of sales and marketing for the Charlotte, NC-based company. “This unique functionality eliminates the need for a monthly subscription.”

At launch, the channel offered more than 7,000 films, all of them formatted for big-screen viewing at as little as eight cents per minute. The service includes premium high-definition movies and 48-hour rental options.

The channel itself is disguised to limit embarrassment, Anders noted.

“For privacy, we have made available a generic ‘Spreadsheet Tutorial’ icon to disguise the channel on the Roku menu,” he said. “Friends and other members of your household are unlikely to be curious about this channel.”

The company plans to add more than 200 movies per week to its Roku service, enabling consumers to enjoy a wide variety of adult entertainment without committing to a monthly membership fee or squinting at a computer monitor — unless they want to. In addition to Roku, AEBN also offers viewing options for mobile devices using Apple’s iOS or Google’s Android operating systems.

AEBN also is available on Google TV.

The company’s affiliate program, which claims payment of more than $250 million to partners since inception, offers a variety of earning and payout options.
