AdultTime has renewed its sponsorship of Pineapple Support at the silver level, the mental health nonprofit announced. The streaming platform joins more than 70 adult industry businesses and organizations supporting the charity.
“We are proud to continue our support and commitment to Pineapple Support and the important services they provide to our production community,” said Bree Mills, AdultTime’s chief creative officer.
AdultTime is a digital subscription streaming platform for adult entertainment content owned by Gamma Entertainment, which was recently acquired by Byborg Enterprises. The platform serves as a major distributor in the adult entertainment industry, offering diverse content through its streaming service.
Pineapple Support is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides mental health resources specifically for adult entertainment industry workers. Founded by Leya Tanit in 2018 following several deaths in the adult industry attributed to depression and other mental health issues, the charity connects performers, content creators and other industry professionals with licensed therapists who offer free or reduced-cost counseling services. The organization has connected more than 16,000 adult performers to mental health services, addressing issues including depression, anxiety and trauma.
The adult entertainment industry has increasingly prioritized mental health initiatives in recent years, with several major platforms and production companies establishing formal partnerships with wellness organizations. This trend has accelerated following high-profile advocacy efforts and growing recognition of mental health challenges within the industry, leading to expanded access to counseling services and support programs for performers and industry workers.
“We are grateful to AdultTime for continuing to support our mission,” Tanit said. “Long-term, dedicated sponsors allow us to do the long-term planning and resource development necessary for building an organization the community can depend on.”
Mills serves as Chief Creative Officer at AdultTime and heads production at Gamma Films, where she has gained recognition for award-winning work as a director, screenwriter and producer. Based in Los Angeles, Mills has pioneered innovative content production approaches and hosts podcast conversations focusing on female sexuality and industry insights.
Tanit founded Pineapple Support as a response to mental health crises in the adult entertainment industry. As a content creator with active social media presence across multiple platforms, she established the nonprofit organization to connect adult performers with mental health services following several industry deaths attributed to depression and mental health issues.
