ATLANTA, GA – The concept is simple enough: make it easy for consumers to find the adult movie titles that interest them the most by developing a user-friendly user interface that makes buying easy. That’s the goal with the newly launched Adultmax.tv, a sister company of Netmax Media and one of the latest contenders for adult VOD dollars.The Adultmax.tv VOD player was developed by the company in-house, and relies only on Adobe’s Flash browser plug-in to operate.

“The most challenging part has been building the VOD platform from ground up,” says company spokesman Jag Sandhu, adding that the company has “put in lots of research and implementation hours.”

The development process, he says, was complicated by the fact that not all Internet users enjoy the same quality of connection.

“Also challenging was the encoding of content to be streamed to end users with variable speeds, maintaining a high-quality video and keeping computer playback resources as low as possible,” he told YNOT.com.

If the VOD player does its job right, that will let customers focus not on the technology that operates the site, but instead on the large catalog of adult films that Adultmax.tv has secured from major adult film studios.

“We have combined the best in adult entertainment of all the major studios under one platform,” reads a company statement. “Our partnership with Adam & Eve Pictures, Vivid Entertainment, Hustler, Elegant Angel Productions, CombatZone, Mile High Media, West Coast Productions, NPO Productions, Good Fellas Productions, White Ghetto Films are just a few to be part of our long list of studios.”
