PATTAYA, Thailand – Roger T. Pipe of Rog Reviews is this week’s guest on the Adult Site Broker Talk podcast, the show announced today.
The announcement described Roger T. Pipe as “a veteran journalist and critic in the adult entertainment industry, with a career spanning nearly 30 years.”
“Starting in the mid-1990s, he gained recognition by sharing porn reviews on internet newsgroups, which eventually led to contributions for major adult retail platforms of the time,” the announcement added. “In 1996, he launched RogReviews.com, a website that now features over 9,000 reviews and hundreds of interviews with adult film stars.”
Roger is also a long-time member of the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) and was inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame in 2009. According to the announcement, Roger “currently oversees the organization’s operations and plays an influential role in shaping its legacy.” Roger is also on the voting panel for both the AVN and XRCO Awards, which the announcement described as “two key institutions that recognize excellence in the adult entertainment industry.”
In addition to his journalism and review work, Roger has also been active in broadcasting during his career. As the podcast’s announcement noted, he has “appeared on TV shows such as Naked New York and has been a frequent guest on radio programs including Love Bytes with Bob Berkowitz, KSEX Radio, Playboy Radio, and Daily Noise.” Roger has also hosted his own podcasts and shows on platforms like Radio Dentata, where he analyzed annual award nominees and winners.
“Beyond media and criticism, Roger contributed a philosophical perspective on adult entertainment by authoring a chapter titled “Something for Everyone” in the 2010 book Philosophy for Everyone: How to Think with Kink, reflecting his deep understanding of the genre’s cultural and intellectual dimensions,” the announcement added. “Roger is well-respected in the adult industry, recognized for his insightful commentary, industry involvement, and thoughtful contributions.”
