PATTAYA, Thailand – Katherine Studley of The Only Consultant is this week’s guest on the Adult Site Broker Talk podcast, the show announced this morning.

Raised in Buffalo, New York, Katherine is “a tax accountant by trade and a creative in essence.” She founded The Only Consultant in 2021 to serve as a judgment-free consulting firm dedicated to providing tax and financial advice to adult creators, exotic dancers, and other creative freelancers looking for a non-traditional tax experience.

Katherine says she first came up with the idea for The Only Consultant “while scrambling eggs with $400 in her bank account.” Despite having no prior experience in entrepreneurship or the adult industry, it quickly became clear to Katherine there was “an overwhelming need for straightforward, compassionate, and judgment-free financial help” in the adult entertainment space. Her client list quickly grew to hundreds of small businesses.

When Katherine first started The Only Consultant, her initial idea was to create a brand that would sell an eBook. But as she began marketing on social media, what she discovered was people weren’t looking for an ebook; they were looking for an accountant.

For the first two years, she offered her consulting services for free while outsourcing the tax return preparation to a small tax firm where she had previously worked. By November 2022, it was time to expand and in November of that year, along with a partner, she founded Prisma Tax Group to help her clients “achieve financial success and peace of mind.”

In July 2032, Katherine bought out her partner in Prisma Tax Group, becoming the sole owner of both The Only Consultant and Prisma.

Katherine’s strategy “involves being hands-on with clients, traveling extensively to meet them in person, and building trust.” The company currently offers tax preparation services, bookkeeping, LLC and S Corp formation, and tax consulting services. Her vision is to expand into life and health insurance, real estate, and any other services her clients may need, aiming to become “the only consultant they will ever need.”
