Adult Site Broker Talk is welcoming Tristan and Rutger of WeCamGirls as this week’s guests on the podcast.
Both Tristan and Rutger live in the same part of the Netherlands, not far from Amsterdam. Tristan is married and has two young children. He is a lawyer by trade and has been in the adult industry for over ten years. He tried practicing law and didn’t enjoy it, so he started a business with his friend Rutger. His hobbies are watches, golf, Legos, eating good food and football – as he says, “the real thing, as in the one you play with your feet. Not the egg ball stuff from the US.”
Rutger is also married with two kids. He graduated with a masters in Econometrics. He started building his first websites in the late 1990’s. His hobbies are basketball, sneakers, golf, good food and Legos.
In 2012 Tristan and Rutger launched the WeCamGirls community. Though it’s called WeCamGirls, they also have models on the site as well. The idea for WeCamGirls was born when a friend of theirs told them the hardest part of being a web cam performer was that she couldn’t talk to a lot of people about what she did for a living. On top of it, not being able to discuss her work caused her boredom.
In answer to this very real problem, WeCamGirls was born as a chat system and forum where performers could discuss the different sites and the latest tech. Since then, it’s grown into a real community. They’ve added some additional features like a commercial profile page – camgirlcollective.com,and a review section.
