PATTAYA, Thailand – Elle Stanger of They Talk Sex Podcast is this week’s guest on the Adult Site Broker Talk podcast, the show announced this morning.
Among the many hats Elle wears is serving as a board member and Co-President of the Oregon Safer Workers Coalition (OSWC). She is also an AASECT-certified sexuality educator, an adult industry professional, a writer and a podcast host. Her podcast, They Talk Sex, is available at TheyTalkSex.com.
According to the announcement, Elle’s work “focuses on elevating the voices and needs of consensual sex workers and exploitation-survivors worldwide, with special attention to her home state of Oregon.”
Elle identifies as queer and polyamorous and is a parent. She also lives with autism, ADHD, and CPTSD. She considers herself “a lifelong learner, striving to remain grief-literate and trauma-informed.”
“As an educator, facilitator, and organizer, she collaborates with therapists, mental health practitioners, and harm reduction professionals, including counselors, EMTs, and crisis responders,” the announcement added.
The OSWC “works to address economic and health inequities faced by consensual adult sex workers and trafficking survivors in Oregon, focusing on at-risk populations through advocacy, research, education, and harm reduction.” The organization “emphasizes the harms of whorephobia, sex negativity, and victim blaming.”
Elle also leads monthly coalition meetings for current and former sex workers and she is currently developing an educational course on STIs and HIV.
