Adult star Seth Gamble has had a solid adult career since joining the industry in 2006. His credits include everything from amateur POV and gonzo to big-budget features and XXX parody productions such as Star Wars XXX, Grease XXX, Deadpool XXX, The Possession of Mrs. Hyde, Suicide Squad XXX and the Adult Time blockbuster Perspective.
Over the past 16 years, Seth has won many adult industry awards from Alt Awards, AVN, Inked, NightMoves, Inked, XCritic, and XBIZ. He has also become a hip-hop recording artist and hopes to break into mainstream film and TV.
According to Seth, breaking into adult changed his life dramatically – and for the better.
“I was in a very tough spot in my life before I got in the industry almost 16 years ago,” he told YNOT. “To some degree the adult industry gave me a drive and purpose. I was fortunate to get into the business: I have met friends I feel I will have for the rest of my life. I have a creative outlet, I get to be with the most beautiful women in the world, I met my wife in the business, and I got sober in the business. The industry has afforded me a life I could have only dreamed of.”
Seth chose to become sober after much soul-searching. “I came to a point in my life – I can’t define it other than hitting a mental/physical/spiritual bottom – where I realized that I am an addict and the disease will always live with me,” he said. “It’s life or death for me. I’m an all-or-nothing type of guy. So, I drank the Kool-Aid of sobriety, and it is my greatest accomplishment. I didn’t do it alone: I was helped. I continue to help people who struggle with it and it’s given me true purpose.”
Embracing sobriety has paid off for Seth “in every way possible,” he said. “I gained self-respect and self-love and so much followed. My performance got better, I could focus on what mattered, and I take it a day at a time, doing my best every day. I would say, from an outside perspective, my career flourished and continues to do so as a result.”
In addition to his sobriety, Seth’s adult career has given him a lot of professional satisfaction. When it comes to shoots, “getting to star in Star Wars XXX, Deadpool XXX, The Possession of Mrs Hyde, and my entire working and personal relationship with Axel Braun has been a high point,” he said.
“The bond I have with Bree Mills and getting to do so many amazing projects with Bree has been a huge high point such as Perspective and all the work we’ve done with Pure Taboo, plus getting to work with Kayden Kross on any Deeper.com project,” Seth added.
As for industry awards?
“Definitely the most defining was my 2019 AVN Best Actor award,” said Seth. “It was a defining moment for me and a moment that felt like self-redemption.” He also values directing The Red Room and Deranged, a series for Wicked Pictures, and renewing his contract with Gamma Films Group.
“I don’t take lightly being part of Gamma,” Seth said. “It has been my joy.”
So, what is the key to Seth’s success?
“Discipline, consistency, creativity, unbridled passion, good relationships, and always looking at each day of work like it matters more than anything, no matter what the project is,” he replied. Looking forward, Seth plans to “continue to perform and direct on a high level and build a legendary career,” he said. “Enjoy my life each day I’m alive. Love those around me inspire and grow.”
