YNOT – ActiveDuty.com, an award-winning gay adult website devoted to men in uniform, has re-launched in a new-and-improved form that offers high-definition content and mobile access.
Infamous for recruiting real-life military men and convincing straight soldiers to perform explicit gay sex acts on camera, Active Duty’s new look incorporates a sleek new design and a navigation system that makes negotiating the content a breeze. Users may sort the material by model, movie, fetish and several other criteria in order to pinpoint exactly what they wish to see.
Active Duty holds nothing back anymore, either: The studio’s entire library, said to encompass “hundreds of thousands of hours of video content,” is available to members now. Everything has been converted to high-definition format, too, and is available on most mobile devices.
“We’ve never had anything bigger than 800k before,” said Active Duty founder and chief director, Dink Flamingo. “I personally love being able to hook [the website] up to Apple TV so I can watch [the material] on my big-screen TV. For me, coming from an era where I started with just a camcorder and VHS tapes, the quality of this content, even the stuff I shot in the early days, is just unbelievable. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Flamingo and Active Duty are pioneers in the amateur-straight-military-guy niche. Flamingo said nothing about the theme or his recruitment methods have changed: All the men featured on the site are honest-to-goodness soldiers, sailors, airmen or marines.
