A One-Stop-Shop for Mobile Porn Apps

CYBERSPACE – As more consumers move to the mobile sphere every day, there no longer remains any doubt that mobile apps can increase revenues for everyone along the adult entertainment supply chain.

Regardless the popularity of the product, though, mainstream app stores — like those operated by Apple, Google, and many of the larger cellphone carriers — forbid anything remotely smacking of sex in their online outlets. While once that was considered a stumbling block, the restriction actually has proved beneficial in several ways. For one thing, mainstream’s ban on mobile adult apps forced the adult industry to shake off the tech malaise that set in around the turn of the 21st Century. The need for creativity in technology and marketing spawned a whole new category of startups devoted to finding ways around mainstream’s roadblock.

FuckedApps is one such outpost. The online destination offers “professional, high-quality porn apps” featuring big names like Hustler, Tera Patrick, ImLive and Juicy Pink Box, according to spokesperson Nick.

“All of the apps on FuckedApps.com are free to download, and even in cases when the mobile sites require a payment for full access, some features will always be available for free,” Nick said. “All of our apps support iOS — iPhone, iPad and iPod — which is quite rare in the adult arena.”

YNOT.com dug deeper.

YNOT: How did you come up with the concept for FuckedApps?

Nick: It all started with Apple’s ban on porn apps in the official iTunes App Store. This left many adult sites with no platform where they could showcase their apps and created huge problems for the mobile porn industry. After all, the whole world is going mobile, and for adult site users who usually are worried about being caught, mobiles guarantee a lot more privacy. Users rightfully expect to be able to access their favorite XXX sites from [mobile phones] or tablets.

When we understood this need for a reliable site that presented only well-made adult apps, FuckedApps.com was born.

How does the website work?

Users simply access the site and choose the applications they want, free of charge and without restrictions.

For iOS devices, we create a bookmark for a web app that behaves just like a standard app. This is a unique and highly important feature, since users have been accustomed to using apps and not mobile browsers.

For Android devices, users download the app and install it on their smartphones just like any other app. Users can install the FuckedApps mobile app on their phones or view the mobile site using their phones’ browsers. They also may browse the desktop site and send apps straight to their mobile phones.

We created a short tutorial taking users step by step through downloading apps from our mobile site.

What kind of apps do you offer?

We showcase adult apps in a variety of categories such as hardcore, adult dating, sex cams, hentai, lesbian, fetish, porn stars, tranny, gay, adult magazines and porn tubes. Among our apps we have some of the biggest names in the industry, including Playboy, Badoink, Silvia Saint and many more.

We make sure we offer porn apps for every niche that users could possibly want — straight, gay, shemale or fetish — and we update the site regularly, adding new categories when needed.

Where do you get the apps?

Mobile porn sites can simply get in touch with us and ask to be presented. We develop the app for them, as well as manually review each app and add any new special promotions they offer, so the companies don’t need to invest anything and the users know that every single app is reliable.

We have a highly trained and professional team working on each and every app. We make sure the final products are top-notch.

How do you make money from this process?

As I mentioned, for all of our users the applications are completely free, and we intend to keep them this way. We earn money through affiliation programs with the sites we promote.

We do, however, cooperate with some non-affiliated websites. They add one of our app download buttons to their site, and in return we add their app to FuckedApps. It’s a win-win situation for both parties involved.

What apps are most popular?

It changes of course, but currently our most popular applications are ImLive, which offers an excellent mobile webcam sex platform, and Badoink, which specializes in high-quality mobile porn videos.

Do you have any apps for my aging BlackBerry?

Currently not, but we are certainly considering it, and I assume that it could be an option that we will explore in the future — although with all the talk lately about selling BlackBerry, it’s highly possible they will end up merging with one of the other large [operating system] platforms. So, we’ll just have to see how that rolls out.

Which is more popular with your users, iPhone or Android?

It changes all the time, but we definitely receive more fan mail from iPhone users, thanking us for offering them such specialized applications. iPhone users, in general, find it more difficult to obtain adult apps.

That’s the key element that gave FuckedApps its success thus far. iOS users have virtually no reliable source for adult apps. Once we started offering the iOS feature, the word got out and our iPhone downloads skyrocketed.

Where do you expect this market to go in the future?

It is becoming clear that mobile porn is not just a trend, but an actual revolution, and it changes the entire adult industry, top to bottom. Sites are beginning to realize they simply cannot allow themselves to stay with only desktop versions, because with every passing day, more and more users are using their smartphone or tablet to access the internet and their porn.

It is safe to assume that this phenomenon will only expand. I personally see porn apps and mobile porn sites as the future of the business.
