DETROIT, Michigan – Although Kendra Lust did some exotic dancing to pay her way through nursing school, she never expected to become a porn star. But after years as a registered nurse, Lust was ready to do something different—and that something was porn.
Today, the 34D beauty works for companies including Bang Bros, Girlfriends Films and Wicked.
“I am still fairly new in the adult industry,” Lust told YNOT. “My first film was done in March 2012, and I am still loving what I do. Michigan is where I was born and raised, and I intend to stay here. I am known for my round booty and inviting smile.”
YNOT: How did you get into porn?
Kendra Lust: I was always a fan of porn since I could get my mischievous hands on it. In the back of my mind, I always wanted to perform but never really had the courage.
One day that changed, and I decided to try webcamming first. I fell in love with being watched and knew I had to take the plunge. So, I had a local photographer take some pics. I started a Twitter account and then started reaching out to companies to shoot me.
Brazzers took a chance with me, and I have been doing it ever since.
What did you think about your first shoot?
I was extremely nervous. It was a girl-girl scene and I didn’t have all that much experience with girls, so I was more worried about not pleasing the girl than the actual performance.
It was really fun, though. Once the cameras started rolling, I just got into my own sexual rhythm.
You put a lot of work into feature dancing. Are you still doing that?
I absolutely love to feature dance. My knees, on the other hand…. It is very satisfying and humbling to meet fans and people who actually watch your work and drive to see you perform.
I was just at the Cadillac Lounge in Rhode Island, and it has to be one of my favorite clubs that I have danced at. I am looking forward to going to Sapphire’s in October as well as Blush in Pittsburgh in December.
Is it true you are a big wrestling fan?
Yes, I am. I have been a huge wrestling fan since I was a kid and still like to catch Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown when I can. It has changed a lot since I was growing up, but I still love it. Hulkamania for life.
Have you been able to entice any wrestlers into working with you in porn?
Well, not directly.
What’s the story with your Lust Army T-shirts?
I have a line of T-shirts that I sell to fans who are part of the Lust Army, which is for fans of mine. I think it’s catchy and cool to have people support me, so I decided to do shirts. Thank you to my Lust Army for all of your continued support.
You obviously are branching out. What are your other business plans?
At this point in time, I am just hoping to continue shooting and building my fan base. I have a few side projects in my personal life, so that keeps me busy, as well.
What are your hopes for the future?
I plan on continuing to feature dance and shoot for a while and maybe one day be behind the scenes. We will see. Until then, I am going to enjoy this amazing ride.
