CLEARWATER, Fla. – The pre-nomination process has begun for the 8th Annual StorErotica Awards, which recognize excellence in the adult retail sector.
This year’s ceremony will honor nominees in 15 categories, including perennial divisions Novelty Company of the Year, Distributor of the Year, Fetish Company of the Year and Retailer of the Year (chain locations). New categories for 2014 include Foreign Manufacturer of the Year, Male Pleasure Product of the Year, Body Care Line of the Year and Retail Education of the Year.
This 2014 ballot will be finalized after the pre-nomination process is complete, including input from the public, industry insiders and StorErotica Magazine’s staff.
“As much as a retailer’s inventory evolves, so shall the awards that come to recognize them,” awards spokesman Kristofer Kay. “As new vendors from outside the U.S. emerge and catalogs continue to modify, we must recognize their contributions to the adult retail community.”
Winners will be announced July 13 during a gala celebration during the ANME Founders Show in Burbank, Calif.
